The Death of Stepho

This is one of my favorite paintings by one of my favorite artists Jacques Louis David. It is called The Death of Marat. Now i can go on and on about why its my favorite but the reason i posted it is because after the picture below was taken, i immediately thought of this painting.



Ha so yea thats stepho in a tub of ice full and drinks and as you can see it resembles the death of marat painting quite a bit.



This is a piece in the hirshorn museum and basically its like a disco ball but completely flat to serve as a mirror. As you can see it distorts everything that it looks at and yea i thought it was just a pretty cool piece.

so this weekend was pretty sick.....late night bike rides with the gang, party hopping, eating unhealthy food, dancing, basically everything was done this weekend. here are some pics from friday night

o yea all these pics i changed the exposure time so i can get the lights in the background to get distorted. i think the outcome was very successful......yes?
