fall season releases tomorrow and here a few things im trying to cop......that is if the shit doesnt sell out like in the first 10 minutes
I was suprised to see this painting on this shirt its one of my favorites, GĂ©ricault's The Raft of the Medusa. There's an awesome story behind this painting but i'll give the short version. BASHICALLY, there were like 400 people on this ship, the Medusa, and to travel faster they decided to sail closer to the shoreline and they got stuck on a sandbar so they decided to make the ship lighter so they started throwing everything out but the ship was still way to heavy. They didnt want to throw out the cannons in fear of being attacked so the next idea was to ABANDON ship. All the rich bitches and people with their connects got on their safety rafts and were alright but the rest about, 149 peeps, were forced to get on this shitty makeshift raft which was tied WAS TIED to the raft but at some point the rope was accidently or INTENTIONALLY cut. Then followed 2 weeks of straight fuckin hell for those 149 people. They suffered through crazy sea storms, brutal ass murders, people started literally goin insane, and then the worst they resorted to cannibalism to survive. When they were finally rescued only 15 men survived but then 5 of them died shortly after their rescue. This painting is amazing its like 16' x 23' so its huge and its at the louvre. but yea i want this shirt in white cause that orange is kinda wack
here is a large pic of the painting look at the detail click on eeet
