took this pic almost 10 years ago when i went to italy with the neo-cats and to be honest i have no clue who the statue is of. I was just going through old pictures and came across it. Her face (especially her eyes) and everything about the piece is just awesome

DA BYRDS

so once again i am talking about DEM BYRDS OF PARADISE! (#1 + #2) i literally cant explain how amazing of a show this was. it was the first actual concert that we did at the CASADE IRVING (hyperlink coming soon) house and MOST importantly BOP played one of their STRONGEST performance i have seen yet! literally i felt as if they tapped into it and were making the crowd TRULY AWARE of it. sick lighting, amazing crowd, partying, and Da Byrds made this a hell of a night. we were so grateful to arrange a house show in between their east coast tour and THANK YOU to everyone who made it out. be on the look out for fliers for the next house show (which i can tell you right now will be at the END of OCTOBER) this is gonna be our first art show/2nd house show/party so get ruddy.

THE DA FIRST

alright so i'm proud to announce that I have started a brand new type of medium to draw.........ready for it.........FACIAL HAIR. ha yea sounds crazy but it works for real. I did this piece for my last years art class, Experimental Drawing. My cousin, izzy, taught me a way to write letters if I were ever to be stranded on an island. He told me to simply pull out the hair on my chain put it next to the paper and smudge. So i did and man thats immediately when it hit me that i can do a legit drawing with this. The picture you are looking at shows the before after and middle. all the hairs are in the bowl and this piece took about 8 hours to accomplish. I drew my father while he was in his late 20s and yea this is the first of a series of these. theres a whole lot of meaning and concept behind the figures that are drawn and how it relates to me and shtuff but you can get the full explanation whenever these are put up in a gallery.
